About District 68
Our district consists of one K-8 school enrolling 860 K-8 students. We are located in Green Oaks, Illinois about 45 minutes north of Chicago.
Oak Grove provides a strong academic program as well as support for students who need assistance and gifted programs. Classes in art, vocal music, band, drama, technology, library, French and Spanish and daily physical education are provided. After school activities include an array of sports and clubs.
Parents support our school through an active PTO and the Oak Grove School Education Foundation. Please plan to attend the Foundation GALA on March 3, 2012 to share a great sense of community and help to enhance our school. This year the funds will support areas of science, math and technology.
You can obtain much information by reading the Oak Grove News which is posted each week on our website and emailed to parents. We are proud of our staff, students and community.
The Chicago Magazine rated Oak Grove as #3 in Lake County.
