DISTRICT POLICY AND GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE
- Charter -


1.   Purpose

The Policy and Governance Committee is responsible for the governance of School Board policy.

 
2.    Activities, Duties, and Responsibilities

Reviews District policies and recommends to the School Board changes or additions to the policy manual.

Drafts Superintendent evaluation form for Board approval.  Ensures evaluation form reflects needs of district.

Compiles Superintendent evaluation form responses and drafts summary.


3.    Meeting Frequency

Meetings schedule:  as needed


4.    Membership

The committee will consist of at least 2 members of the Board and the Superintendent

 
5.    Annual Assessment

The Committee will assess its activities on an annual basis and recommend any proposed changes to the BOE.
